email. It is just more convenient for me that way. If you have questions it
gives me a chance to gather and research all of the information needed to
provide you with the detailed answers that you require to make an educated
decision. I am usually very quick to answer emails and I answer all of them.
I am home-based and in and out all day long. As such I am usually very difficult
to catch by phone. If you absolutely need to talk to me, no way around it,
shoot me an email with a phone number and best time to call. I will do my best
to call in a timely fashion.

Warranty and Return Policy
I guarantee for 90 days from date of purchase against the failure of my custom controls or wiring harnesses under normal circumstances. This warranty covers defects in materials and/or workmanship. The guarantee does not cover damage or abuse including but not limited to improper installation, damage done by any liquids or any other damage caused by the customer or technician. If you have one of my products and it fails on it's own I will repair or replace it for 90 days. If the product has been worked on or modified, this will void the warranty and they will no longer be covered. Refunds are not given except under very special circumstances at my discretion. Your payment is acceptance of a binding contract to have your work done as stated. In the very rare event that a refund is offered, all fees associated with the sale (shipping, handling, GoogleCheckout/Credit Card fees, etc) will not be refunded, only the original price of the product. All other costs will be deducted from the total amount refunded. This is non-negotiable.

The guarantee does not cover damage or abuse including but not limited to improper installation, scratching, scarring, burns, punctures, corrosion, damage done by any liquids, changing/removal of hookup leads or removal of original tape around the bobbins. Pickups must be completely unaltered. If you have one of my pickups and it fails on it's own I will repair or replace it for one year. If the pickups have been worked on or modified, this will void the warranty and they will no longer be covered. Refunds are not given except under very special circumstances at my discretion. Tone Guarantee: I offer a 30 day ONE TIME exchange/rewind of your Stan Hinesley Pickup(s) if you are not happy with the model/tone that you purchased (custom winds excluded). My goal is to make sure you get the right pickup. Exchanges are for unaltered pickups only. Pickups returned for exchange must be in original condition in original packaging showing no signs of damage or wear. Please be extra careful with it for the first 30 days or until you are sure you are happy with it. Pickups damaged by customer will not be replaced. If the pickups have been worked on this will void the warranty and they will no longer be covered. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs (both ways) on exchanged pickups. TONE GUARANTEE DOES NOT APPLY TO CUSTOM WINDS.
