HAS Sound Custom Guitar and Bass Electronics and Pre-Wired Harnesses are hand wired, hand assembled and hand tested by me personally right here in my shop! I give your tone back to you, not to the manufacturer who may or may not know what you want. My products feature the highest quality components like CTS, Switchcraft and Sprague Orange Drop. I use high quality 22 gage wire and German silver solder for better signal transfer and tone. Most of my controls require only two wires to hook up and all come with easy to follow instructions. In most cases you just replace your existing control with one of mine (soldering iron required). My controls include easy instructions with a section explaining how you can make your new control act as a master tone. All are passive, meaning that they don't require a battery. Many are even further customizable, just let me know what you want and we'll let you know if it can be done. I offer midrange controls, passive overdrive controls, switchable tone controls, Varitone controls, bass cut controls…all with options like your choice of tone capacitors, long shaft, regular shaft, split shaft, solid shaft, compact versions, etc, so you don't have to settle for a mass produced by machine, straight-out-of-the-warehouse product. No matter what your style, I’m sure to have something to get you closer to achieving that elusive "killer tone" that you've been looking for.

Midrange Control Sometimes referred to as a mid-scoop, this pre-wired control replaces the existing tone control in any electric guitar to transform it into a midrange cut control. Midrange Plus Control This pre-wired control replaces the existing tone control in any guitar. Turn control from 5 to 0 and it cuts midrange frequencies. Turn from 5 to 10 and it gives you a thicker, beefed up tone, accentuating the lower midrange frequencies. At 5, the control is neutral. On guitars with two tone controls, one can be made the "master" tone control and the other "Mid Plus Control". Designed for use with single coil pickups but can be used with humbuckers. Our Famous Varitone Control Based on the rotary six position switch found on the Gibson® ES-345 guitars and the BC Rich guitars from the 80's, but more compact and with modern, more useable tones. 5-Way Rotary Pickup Selector, Prewired For two pickup guitars or 4-wire humbucker This prewired rotary switch offers the following pickup configurations: Position 1- Neck Position 2- Bridge + Neck, Series Position 3- Bridge + Neck, Parallel Position 4- Bridge + Neck, Series, Out of Phase Position 5- Bridge All you have to do is hook up your pickups. Dirty Rice Passive Overdrive Control This pre-wired overdrive control replaces the existing tone control in any electric guitar with high output pickups . Use it to dial in a smooth "crunch" to your signal. The pot determines the amount of drive. Very "tweedish"! Designed to only be used with high output humbuckers or very high output single coils (at least 10k ohms DC resistance). The higher the output of the pickup(s), the more pronounced the effect. Treble Retainer Circuit If your guitar becomes "muddy" or losses highs as the guitar's volume control is turned down, this kit fixes the problem and it also smoothes out the taper of your pot! Sometimes called a Treble Bleed Circuit, this kit includes the components and wiring instructions to rewire the volume pot in any electric guitar to retain the treble as it is turned down.
